A Home with a Past
Madhuban is not just a boutique hotel — it is a home shaped by history.
Set in the quiet residential lanes of Bani Park, Jaipur, the home of Rao Saheb Digvijay Singh Patan and Family offers a slower, more personal way of experiencing the city. Originally built as a private residence, it has gradually evolved into a boutique stay, while retaining the character and warmth of a family home. With over 35 years of experience in the hospitality sector, the family brings a legacy of thoughtful service and genuine care to every guest’s stay.
No two rooms are the same. Some were once part of the family’s own living spaces — a continuity that still defines the experience of staying here. There is no elevator, and the structure remains true to the way the home was originally built.

An 18th-century palace that has been converted into a heritage hotel.
The historical city of Patan is about 70 miles northeast of Jaipur,on the Kotputli Sikar road, off the National Highway 8, the road which connects Jaipur and Delhi.
Nestled in a valley formed by 3 hills, Patan Mahal rises in the distance at the end of the city. The palace is well-located with an unhindered birds-eye view of the 13th century ancestral fort which stands loftily at an imposing 2000 ft above sea level and another palace called Badalgarh Mahal.
Patan Mahal is a Heritage Home, surrounded by it’s own farm on one side, an 800-year-old fort and another palace halfway up a hill.
The beautifully appointed rooms at Patan Mahal reflect the royal heritage of Rajputana, and the Patan Family.
All our Royal Suite and Regular Suite rooms have clean and well designed bathrooms, with hot and cold running water and bathtubs.
The Patan family traces its lineage directly to Anangpal Tomar II, among the earliest and most significant rulers of Delhi, credited with establishing it as a historic seat of power.
Over centuries, this lineage extended across northern India, with Patan in Rajasthan emerging as its principal seat. Within the Tanwar (Tomar) tradition, Patan stands as the head of the lineage — a place from which identity, legacy, and continuity are drawn.
This is not simply a matter of ancestry, but of heritage carried forward — reflected in the way Madhuban continues to exist today: as a home that has evolved across generations.
At Hotel Madhuban, every room is thoughtfully designed to offer comfort and convenience. From modern bathrooms with hot and cold running water to seamless Wi-Fi access across the hotel, we ensure a relaxed and hassle-free stay for every guest.

Our Royal Suite features a private whirlpool, while Suites and Super Deluxe rooms come with elegant bathtubs for added indulgence. With 100% power backup through our in-house generator and warm hospitality by the Patan family, Hotel Madhuban ensures you feel cared for at every moment of your stay.
Madhuban was never conceived as a hotel.
It grew organically as the family began hosting guests, which is why:
What you experience here is not designed uniformity, but authenticity — a home that has adapted without losing its essence.

The architecture reflects an older sensibility — open spaces, natural light, and details shaped by craftsmanship rather than trend.
Each room carries its own identity, shaped by time rather than design templates. The garden remains central to the house — a quiet, lived-in space where the pace naturally slows.
A stay at Madhuban is intentionally unhurried.
There are no rigid formalities — just a space that feels personal, calm, and easy to settle into. Mornings begin slowly, common areas remain open and relaxed, and the atmosphere encourages a quieter rhythm.
Service is attentive, but never intrusive — in keeping with the way a home functions.

Location: A Different Side of Jaipur
Bani Park offers a quieter, more residential side of Jaipur. Tree-lined streets, a slower pace, and distance from the city’s intensity make it an ideal setting — while still being centrally located and well connected to Jaipur’s main attractions.Madhuban remains, at its core, a home.
Not defined by excess or standardization, but by history, continuity, and a way of hosting that feels natural and unforced.
No two rooms at Madhuban are the same.
Shaped by the history of the house, each room carries its own character — some once used by the family themselves, others added as the home evolved over time.
Rather than uniformity, what you’ll find is individuality — spaces that feel lived-in, comfortable, and quietly distinct.
Life at Madhuban follows a different rhythm.
Mornings begin slowly, often with breakfast in the garden. Afternoons are quiet, with open spaces that invite rest rather than activity. Evenings settle into a calm that feels removed from the city outside.
There are no crowds, no interruptions — just a space that allows you to experience Jaipur at your own pace.
